Mary Alice Kossick, passed away on Wednesday, April 25 th, 2007 at Extendicare, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Mary was born in England on December 14 th, 1919. She was predeceased by her father Jack; mother Polly; brothers Frank, Bill and Jack; and sister Edie. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her son Alan (Jean) Kossick of Moose Jaw, Sk; daughter Janis (Wayne) Walsh of Airdrie, Ab; five Grandchildren, Darren, Kathy, Julie, Natasha, and Marcus; seven Great Grandchildren, Bennett, Thomas, Tyler, Alissa, Kolby, Bradly, and Jana. Mary worked at Evans Florist and her father’s store, Sharpe’s Confectionary, where she met her husband Stan Kossick and they were married in 1942. Some of Mary’s passions were her flowers, gardening, and supplying the coffee at her husband’s art classes. Her loving heart was always given to her friends and family. The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 19 th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Rev. Dave Moore will officiate and interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery.
