Mary Marjorie “Marj” Koskie

November 7th, 1949- May 20th, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Marjorie “Marj” Koskie in the early hours of May 20th, 2025, at the age of 75, with loved ones by her side.

Marj was born into a large family on a farm in Spring Valley on Monday November 7th, 1949 to loving parents Sylvia and Ernest Koskie. As an infant, Marj’s family moved to Moose Jaw, where she would live for the majority of her life. In 1991 Marj graduated with a degree in business from SIAST. She then began her career as an executive assistant for the Government of Saskatchewan, where she worked hard, until retiring in early 2009.

Marj was very creative, with a great eye for detail. She could often be found working on beautiful sewing and crochet projects for her and her family to enjoy. In her free time she loved catching up with friends and family over a good cup of coffee.

Marj will be remembered lovingly for her caring heart, continuous determination, and her quick-witted humour.

Marj is part of a large family, and has joined 13 of her siblings as well as her parents in Heaven.

Marj is survived by her children: Peter Neufeld, Tracey DeMuth and Robin (Gordon) Winder; Grandchildren: Ashlea Tran, Michael Korbo, Taylor, Tanner, Olivia, Danielle, Kati DeMuth, Thayne, Mackinlee, Tanaya, Keelee and Kamden Winder; sister: Irene Koskie Wind-Riddell; and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Marj’s wishes, no service will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Cara Ashworth, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
