David King

September 16, 1950 – April 12, 2020

The family of David King (Goudie) announce with broken hearts, that David has been called home.  David lived a number of places during his almost 70 years. He was known as “King David” during the times that he lived at Valley View.  David loved country music, cowboy shirts, belt buckles and cowboy hats. He rode his “Bike” like any good cowboy would. His “Surrogate Family”, the Webbers, took David on trips and provided him with a loving home.  Eventually David moved to Providence Place and the staff where kind, caring and joking with David. David is home in heaven with his family singing Tiny Bubbles!! Left to mourn are David’s sisters, Linda, Carol, Darlene and numerous nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at a later date at Providence Place, Moose Jaw.  Donations in David’s name may be made to Moose Jaw Diversified Services 11 Woodlilly Dr. Moose Jaw, SK S4J 1H1.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Andrew Pratt Funeral Director 306-693-4550.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of David. We have missed him at St. Andrew’s Church the past few years when he had to move to a care facility. He was always happy and loved to tell us about his belt buckle, and western hat. Our deepest sympathy to all who knew this special soul.
