Gary Kemp
With a heavy heart, the family of Gary Kemp announces his passing on Monday, May 20th, 2024 at the age of 78 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Lester and Jane Kemp; daughter, Beverly Kemp; and brothers, Gerald Kemp (Gail) and Brian Kemp (Darlene). Left to cherish Gary’s memory are his daughter, Janice Colliness; stepchildren: Keith Knudson, Karen Zappa (Glen), Albert Knudson, Neil Knudson, Roy Knudson, Marty Knudson (Kathy); and grandchildren: Raela Colliness (Kealin Bleakly), Jud Colliness, Cord Colliness, Jesa Colliness, and Ella Biette. Also left to cherish his memory are his brothers: Wayne Kemp (Marg), Donald Kemp, and Doug Kemp; sisters, Darlene Kemp and Bonnie Hagley (Neil); as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 29th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Most heartfelt condolences to all Gary’s family. We used to have supper with him on many Fridays at Veroba’s. We met him in the Delight on Southill a few years back. Rest in peace Gary.
I am deeply saddened to read this. Rick and I often would run into Gary at various restaurants and the conversation was always welcome and left me smiling.
