Roy Johner
Roy Johner, aged 89 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020. Roy was born in Estevan, SK and received his education in Moose Jaw. He married Yvonne Douville on December 29th, 1958 in Pointex, SK and together they raised 4 children. Roy worked as a welder and also farmed. He retired at the age of 72 years and then continued to farm. Roy was a passionate golfer and even tried making his own driver. He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Bertha; sister, Josephine; and brothers: Andrew, Joseph and Tom. Roy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Yvonne; children, Colette (Rocky), Philip (Alison), Ronald (Wendy) and Julie Anne; grandchildren: Carter (Brittany), Tyrell, Ryan (Abby), Alexander, Krystle (Kevin), and Kylee (Aaron); 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Tony (Pauline); as well as numerous other relatives. Due to the current health situation, a Private Family Service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Roy’s name may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK S4T 7T1.
