SHERRI GAIL HOFFOS

With sadness we announce the passing of Sherri Gail Hoffos.  Sherri was born in Assiniboia, SK on March 3rd, 1964, and passed away on April 17th, 2024, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.  She was predeceased by her husband, Jim McKenna; parents, Gordon and Florence; and brother, Bill.  Sherri is survived by her sons, Dustin and Dana; grandchildren: Creedance, Echo, Kyle, Kley, and Lillian; brothers, Walter and Gordon “Bud”; sisters: Tina, Linda, and Terri; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Sherri also leaves behind good friends who shared in much laughter and memories made throughout the years.  Her brutal honesty and words of wisdom guided many of us throughout the years.

Sherri loved her boys and her grandchildren more than life itself.  She was so proud of them all and looked forward to their visits, phone calls, and video chats.  She also loved her pets more than her people.

Sherri was one of a kind and had the ability to brighten anyone’s day and make everyone laugh.  Her sense of humor was larger than life, as was her smile, and she will be missed terribly by many.

In keeping with Sherri’s wishes, a Private Service will be held to celebrate her memory.

Rest in Peace
our beautiful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Michelle Ellis, Funeral Director 306-693-4550

Sincere condolences to Sherri’s family. We had some great times growing up and oh the laughs we shared. Brutally honest to a fault at times, you always knew where you stood with Sherri and god bless her for that. May your memories comfort you at this difficult time. Hugs

My heart goes out to the boys and thier families as well as all of Sherris friends(which there were many). I am sitting here thinking of how many times we bantered back and forth making each other laugh until we cried. I will cherish our friendship until the end of time. I’m really going to miss you Louise. You were my Rock. I love you.
