Kevin Michael Galey
August 30th, 1978 – March 29th, 2020
After a short and very courageous fight with cancer, Kevin Michael Galey, aged 41 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Sunday, March 29th, 2020. He was predeceased by his Dad Doug; Grandpa and Grandma Galey; Grandpa Taman; Uncle Jack; Aunties Marj and Wilma; and of course, Ziggy. Left to love Kevin dearly are his Mum, Gayle; brothers, Darren (Kate, Brock and Melanie) and Bradley (Tracy, Tylan and Tarek); Grandma Taman; special cousin, Barb (Percy); as well as cousins and friends, and many, many fur friends. Kevin loved a good fire on his deck while enjoying a beer after a hard day’s work at CJ Trailers. He loved redoing things and helping friends get fish shacks ready for the season or anything they needed. A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. My condolence to Kevin’s family. I know Kevin both from work at Kalium and at the Hillcrest Golf Course. Kevin never had a down day, always pleasant and hard working. He was always willing to be cooperative and suggesting new ideas to improve things. It is sad to see such a nice guy get dealt with this.

It’s been more than a few years, and we unfortunately lost touch. I just wanted to offer my deepest condolences and share with you that some of my favourite memories of growing up in Moose Jaw included times spent with Kevin. We had a lot of fun and he was always a sweet, caring, and genuine person. I am very saddened to have heard of his passing.
