Donna Barbara Ellison, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully in Moose Jaw, SK on Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, at the age of 83 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Dorothy; husband, Jim; and daughter, Shelley. Donna is survived by her sisters: Janet, Diana, Judy, and Pat; and son-in-law, Gary.
Born on September 19th, 1940, in Melville, SK, Donna brought joy to everyone who knew her. She loved animals and had a strong love for cats and dogs. She will be deeply missed by her sisters, nieces and nephews, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Rosedale Cemetery to honour Donna. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made by sending a donation in Donna’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200-325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5 or a local Humane Society. It brings some comfort knowing that Aunt Donna will be reunited with Uncle Jim and Shelly.
So sorry to hear of Donna’s passing. My condolences to all of her sisters and Gary and all of your families. It was nice to visit with Donna at any Ellison family gatherings.
