Evelyn Elizabeth Dormuth

Evelyn Elizabeth Dormuth passed away Wednesday, September 28th, 2011 at the age of 76 years.  Evelyn was the loving daughter of Anna and Henry Dormuth, deceased, and devoted sister to Anton and John, also deceased.  She will be fondly remembered by her younger brother, Wayne (Alice) who she helped raise.  She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, Darryl Dormuth (Marni), Colin Dormuth (Alison), Leanna Dormuth, Doreen van Eck (Bert), Matthew Dormuth, and David Dormuth (Marilyn); and by her great nieces and nephews.  She selflessly devoted herself to helping others as a volunteer, working with geriatric patients and the underprivileged in her neighbourhood, and as a foster parent.  She worked proudly for General Motors for more than 35 years, helping to support her family during hard times.  Yet she found time to enjoy life with her friends, and was an avid golfer and bowler.  The family offers its deepest gratitude to Linda Demerse and staff at Coteau Range Manor in Avonlea, SK for their excellent care and compassion while Evelyn was with them, and in recent months, to the staff of Providence Place for their care during Evelyn’s final journey.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 3rd, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Providence Place Chapel, 100 – 2nd Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, SK.  Father Louis Nguyen will be the presiding celebrant and burial will take place in the family plot at Riverside Cemetery, Regina, SK.  Donations to either Coteau Range Manor, P.O.
