JOHN “JACK” CRAGG
1933 – 2023
John “Jack” Cragg aged 89 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023 at the Regina General Hospital, with family by his side.
Jack grew up on the family farm near Nipawin, SK. He worked for the provincial government in agriculture and at the Water Corporation for 33 years. After his retirement, Jack contracted out services for Tollifson Cable Services and HCL.
He was predeceased by his parents, Wesley and Mary; brothers: Dave (Jean), William, and Jim; and sister, Betty. Jack leaves to mourn, his wife of 62 years, Anne; daughters, Linda and Shirley (Reg) Tremblay; grandchildren: Bo (Felicia) Cragg, Trisha Blenkinsop, and Jeremy Tremblay; great-grandsons, Weston and Raymond; sister-in-law, Joyce Cragg; and many special nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff in Unit 6A at the Regina General Hospital, Dr Jacobs, Dr Zimmerman, Dr Hetherington, and the entire staff at Medella Medical Centre.
In keeping with Jack’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack’s name may be made to STARS Air Ambulance, 2640 Airport Road, Regina, SK S4W 1A3 or a charity of one’s choice.
