Nancy Marie Claffey

Nancy Marie Claffey, aged 59 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Thursday, July 16th, 2020.  Nancy was born in Moose Jaw and married Harold Claffey on April 27th, 2013.  Nancy was a long-time member of the Recovery Programs, and also volunteered at the Transition House.  She worked as a School Bus Driver and the children and parents loved her.  One of her hobbies was making jewellery and many of her friends have some of her pieces.  She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Mary Meacher; first husband, Frank Enns; and siblings: Lois McDonald, Bill Meacher, and Gord Meacher.  Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Harold; daughter, Marci Cross; and siblings: Cynthia, Jane (George), Russ (Mary), and Stella.  She will also be remembered by the Claffey family: Vivian (Glen), Erwin (Annie), Bill (Bev), and Dave (Robin); as well as numerous other relatives and friends.  A Memorial Gathering will be held on Zoom in the evening of Monday July 20th, 2020.  Please contact Harold for details.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Nancy’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

      my deepest condolences to family and friends I have known Nancy for years and I have even worked with nancy at the post office in Moose Jaw as cleaners we had some good times working there she will be greatly missed R.I.P Nancy

    My heartfelt condolences to Harold and to Nancy’s family. She was a woman to reckon with and to appreciate. I’ll always remember Nancy with affection and respect. She did a lot of good in the world and her spirit was strong and bright.

    My deepest condolences Harold and family. Nancy was truly a gem! I count it a great privilege to have gotten to know her these past few years. Nancy was one of the kindest and most caring people I know and she had a great sense of humour. She will be greatly missed! The world became a little darker without her.
