Ellen Brown
Ellen Brown, aged 79 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Monday, April 22nd, 2019. Ellen was born in Moose Jaw on July 24th, 1939 and received her education there. She married Gord Brown on May 7th and together they raised 4 children. Ellen worked in Health Care for many years. She was an avid sports fan. “Never talk bad about the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Wayne Gretzky, or Tiger Woods.” She was predeceased by her son, Ward; husband, Gord; parents, Melvin and Nelle; stepmother, Alice; and brothers: Earl, William, and Daniel. Ellen will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kim (Jeff); sons, Brad (Maureen) and Brent (Gloria); grandchildren: Melissa, Tim, Amanda, Angela, and Valerie; 6 great-grandchildren; special niece and nephews: Sandy, Brian, Craig, and Larry; as well as numerous other relatives. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 26th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Major Wendy Broome will officiate and a private family interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Ellen’s name may be made to the Providence Place Foundation Inc, 100 – 2nd Ave NE, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1B8.
