GLADYS JEAN ACTON (Kellington)
January 29th, 1925 – July 18th, 2014

It is with profound sadness that the family of Gladys Jean Acton announces her passing in her 89th year.  She was predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Annie Kellington; and all of her 9 siblings.  Gladys leaves to mourn, her husband of 72 years, Irvin; daughter, Lorraine (Lyle) Sitter; sons, Doug (Sherlyn Sandbeck) and Norm; grandchildren: Brad (Kristie), Troy, Jeff, Cristin (Jon) and Lindsay (Aaron); great-grandchildren, Ethan and Jude.  A special thank you to Dr. W.J. Geyer for his years of excellent care.  Gratitude and appreciation to the nurses at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital.  At Gladys’ request, no funeral service will be held.  Those wishing to join the family for a quiet memorial may do so on Friday, July 25th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Gladys’ name may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Assoc., 917A Albert St., Regina, SK S4R 2P6.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
