Hazel Winnona Price
1917-2011

Hazel Winnona Price, aged 93 years of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away Thursday, January 27th, 2011.  A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Hazel was born at Buttress, SK. and attended Quincy School.  In her younger years, she rode bareback and won many races with her horse, Winny.  She worked in retail all of her life.  After retirement, she volunteered until she was 80 years of age.  Her favorite pastimes included dancing, walking and playing dominos with friends and family.  Hazel was predeceased by her parents, Ada and James Good; her husband, Norman Leonard; sister, Clara Jeffrey and brother, Roy Good.  She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Douglas (Wendy).  A special thank you to the staff of Ina Grafton Gage Home for the transition from Mom’s home, as well as to Pioneer Lodge and Extendicare for their love and care.
