Jeannette Nicolle 

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mrs. Jeannette Nicolle (Douglas) on June 9th, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Jeannette was predeceased by her father, Ernest Douglas.  She will be sadly missed by her husband, Doug and her canine companion, Truffy; her mother, Ruby and step-dad, Neil; brother, Dwayne (Sue); niece, Veronica and her son Damien; god-children: Doug Zinn, Sandra Shiplack and Kelly Myers; aunts, Mildred Littlemore and Marion Riley; uncle, Wes Bokinac; mother and father-in-law, Marj and Chub Nicolle; uncle, Ernie Boevers; along with many cousins and dear, dear friends.  Jeannette will be remembered by many after being in business in Moose Jaw as a hairdresser for 41 years.  She loved cooking and hosting parties of all kinds, gardening, riding the motorcycle, dancing and shuffleboard.  She had a strong faith to the Bethune United Church.  The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 13th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Minto United Church, 1036 7th Ave. N.W., Moose Jaw.  Reverend John Carley will officiate.  For those so wishing, donations in Jeannette’s name may be made to St. Columba Church and Cemetery Fund, c/o David Delahey, Box 362, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 4N9.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director. 693-4550.
