Jacqueline (Jackie) Veronica Tatum

The family would like to announce the passing of their beloved mother, Jacqueline (Jackie) Veronica Tatum (née: Bender, aged 62 years of Rouleau, Saskatchewan, on Monday, October 12th, 2026, in the ICU at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK.  

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Keith Tatum; father, Arthur Bender; mother, Jean Bender (née: Roe); father-in-law, Frank Tatum; mother-in-law, Harriet Tatum (née: Hilts); uncle, Norman Roe; brother-in-law, Earl Tatum; brother, Victor Bender; sister, Patricia Parent; and great-nephews, Terell and Deon Amosah.  Jackie is survived by her children: Duane (Shannon) Tatum, Ryan Tatum, and Jesse Tatum (Michelle Beaulieu); step-children, Sean Tatum and Nicole Haak; foster son, Andrew Cameron and family; grandchildren: Kolby Tatum, Tori Tatum, and Keagan Tatum; siblings: Terry (Edith) Bender, Brenda Bender, Susan (Richard) McKennitt, and Douglas Bender (Jan Day); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jackie lived a life marked by devotion to her family and will be remembered for her sincere faith.  She had a quick wit and many talents.  She loved to paint, sew, quilt, cook, and bake – especially cakes for her family events.  She was famous for her family gatherings where she always served a feast.

Jackie leaves a legacy of love through her children and grandchildren, her siblings and many dear friends.  We have a lifetime of cherished memories.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 19th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery.  Those not able to attend may view the service by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/webcast/.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Jackie’s name may be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Saskatchewan, 2110-439 University Ave, Toronto, ON M5G 1Y8 or the Canadian Lung Association, 885 Meadowlands Dr, Suite 502, Ottawa, ON K2C 3N2.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Cara Ashworth, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
