Janice Delores Riley

Janice Delores Riley passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2nd, 2026, at the age of 80 years.  

She was predeceased by her brother, Brian and twin sister, Janet.  Janice is survived by her husband, Bill; son, Gord (Cindy); daughters, Laurie (Michael and Claudine (Jason); as well as by her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Janice loved animals and enjoyed horse back riding.  She enjoyed gardening and flowers all around her yard.  Working outside and maintaining her yard gave Janice an appreciation for the outdoors, allowing her to relax and take in the environment.  She enjoyed mountain views, and fishing in the ocean was one her most favourite things to do.  Janice could turn anything into a great meal and loved to make food for others.  In Janice’s house, you would be welcomed by snacks, love and laughter.

Janice’s family would like to thank the staff at the Rockglen Care Home, Coronach Health Centre, and Moose Jaw Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Janice’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 10th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Janice’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Cara Ashworth, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
