Denise Mary Ann Foster (née: Goriuck)

Mrs. Denise Mary Ann Foster of Providence Place passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 28th, 2026, at the age of 67 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Kathleen and William Goriuck; sister, Diana Proulx; and brother-in-law, Leo Proulx.  Left to cherish Denise’s memory are her two sons, Aaron (Brittany) Foster and Nathan (Brook) Foster; and her two beloved grandchildren, Keaton and Kiara Foster, who brought her immense joy and pride.  Denise will also be lovingly remembered by her sister, Debbie (Ron) Mayson; brother, Dwayne Goriuck; nieces: Rhonda (Scott) Tuck, Stephanie Mayson (Al Downs), and Tammy Proulx (Ken Cox); nephew, Shaun (Tracy) Proulx; great-nieces, Shaydin Proulx and Saylor Mayson; great-nephews: Coy Proulx, Cayden Blacklaws, and Rylan Blacklaws; and special cousin, Donna Parks.

Born and raised in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Denise built a life centered around family, friendship, and caring for others.  She treasured every opportunity to spend time with her sons and, later, her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.  She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life — working in her garden, enjoying the outdoors, and caring for her beloved dogs, Duke and Tex.

Denise spent most of her career working at Valley View Centre, where she formed many lasting friendships and touched the lives of countless people through her kindness and dedication.  Denise will be remembered for her warm heart, her love of family, her loyalty to friends, and the joy she found in life’s everyday moments.  Her sense of humor could brighten any room, her generosity knew no bounds, and her strength carried her through life’s challenges with grace.  She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Denise’s Life will be held at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Denise’s name may be made to Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550-12th Ave, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550

Very sad to hear of the passing of Denise. It has been quite a few years since I last spoke with her, but I have good memories from happier times. Gone way too soon; rest in peace Denise.
