Maizie Catherine Therens

Maizie Catherine Therens, passed away on May 27, 2026 just two months shy of her 100th birthday.  Maizie was born on July 13, 1926 in Milestone, SK.  Maizie had many hobbies and interest which included: doing puzzles, playing cards, doing crosswords and dancing.  Maizie always liked a good visit and coffee was always on. She enjoyed reminiscing about family and loved to host family get togethers.  Maizie was a huge Blue Jays fan and watched them play whenever she could. While at Pioneer Lodge she enjoyed playing floor curling, bowling and doing crafts. 

Maizie was predeceased by her husband, Clarence; son, Ray; daughters, Rose Marie and Marlene and her brothers and sisters.  She is survived by her children: Bev (Kathy) Therens of Saskatoon; Gaylene (Dick) Legare of Moose jaw; Donna Therens of Moose Jaw; Keith Therens of Moose Jaw and Lana (Ray) Johnson- Dacunha of Moose Jaw; sister-in-law, Irene Galbraith; grandchildren: Jenna, Joseph, Jennie, Carla, Tanya, Crystal, Cameron and Trevor; Marlene’s children: Allan, Donna and Brian; 21 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Maizie will be announced at a later date.
