Len Kenneth Vanghel

June 17th, 1951 – May 14th, 2026

Len Kenneth Vanghel aged 74 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on Thursday, May 14th, 2026.  

Len was born in Watrous, SK and grew up on a farm just outside of Imperial, SK with his large family.  During his childhood, he enjoyed baseball, fishing, hunting, and playing cards.  About 35 years ago, Len came to Moose Jaw and made it his home.  He enjoyed his friendships and was always up for a good chat.  Len was often described as a gentle man.

He was predeceased by his parents, Aubrey and Laura Taylor; sisters, Rose Patterson and Diane Marckoski; brother, Charlie Vanghel; and nephew, Randy Patterson.  Len is survived by his son, Rodi (Victoria) Vanghel, their children Kenneth, Kristin, Madison, Audrey, Brelund, and Trudy, and theirs spouses and children; daughter, Nikki (Darren) Pierce and their children Kodi, Stephanie, Tyler, and Kyle; sister, Judy (Doug) Mann; twin brother, Glen (Kirsten) Vanghel; and brothers: Dennis Vanghel, Norman (Becky) Lucas, and Lyle (Denise) Lucas.  

Rodi and Nikki would like to thank the staff at Extendicare for taking great care of Len over the last 14 years.  It was greatly appreciated.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 6th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Rosedale Cemetery.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Michelle Ellis, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
