Good Bye my friend, till we meet again.
Throughout her life, Elsie did the most important work on earth, advocating for the life of every human being from conception to natural death.
Rest in peace, Elsie, you are surrounded by many , many, angels.
Very Sad news to hear our dear friend Elsie R.I.P.has died. God be Good to Elsie, she was an amazing Lady ,sweet , Kind ,Smart, a Lady with Great Faith who believed in the Dignity of the human being from conception to natural death. Elsie spent many years working with Prolife organizations, supporting encouraging scared young women with unplanned pregnancies I reconnected with Elsie & met her dear husband Peter R.I.P.when I visited Lethbridge about 15 years ago and since thenwe had many enjoyable visits I first met Elsie at a big Prolife (H.L.I.) conference in Houston Texas.
God have Mercy on dear Elsie R. I .P. You will be missed by many.
Sincerely . Michael and Rita Issigonis.
Our heartfelt condolences to Elsie’s family on this heart wrenching occasion. Elsie was a beautiful woman who had genuine compassion for all human life. My family (myself, my two brothers, Joseph and Derek, our mother, Maureen, and father, John) were good friends with Elsie (and her deceased husband Peter). As a child I remember her two long haired cats, Suzie and Queenie, when she lived in Lethbridge and then her black cat who she adopted sometime after she moved to Moose Jaw. When we would visit her and Peter. she would make by brothers and I the best hot chocolate and she always had cookies for us. We loved visiting her.
It was only on this past April 8th that Elsie phoned our home and she and I talked for an hour and half, in which some of the time we discussed her writings on the Book of Genesis!
We love Elsie and will miss her greatly. May she rest in peace and may God’s light shine upon her!
Elsie Alexander was a woman of remarkable kindness, wisdom, and compassion, a great mind and an even greater heart ❤️.
She dedicated her life to helping others recognize their inherent worth, as every human life has value and something meaningful to contribute to the world. Elsie tirelessy advocated for women, children, and anyone in need, giving herself with such humility and grace. Her door was always open to anyone in need -one of the greatest legacies she leaves behind. Elsie your generosity, warmth, and compassion touched countless lives and will continue to inspire us!
I was so honoured to receive the first chapter from your commentary on the Book of Genesis, a reflection on God’s creation, the purity of water, from which our bodies are made nearly 70%, so your right belief that we are meant to be pure. “Everything was good,” “but we are VERY good.”
You will be deeply missed…until we meet again my friend, in our Father’s home
Lord have mercy on dear Elsie, may she rest in joy in the midst of the Holy Family, and united with her beloved Peter. Elsie had many friends especially through her dedicated ProLife work and her kindness and generosity touched many lives. In more recent years it was very special for me to have had phone chats across the world with Elsie – from here in Australia. Our links included mutual friends in Calgary and Brandon Manitoba. Now our links included with Elsie will be in prayer.
