Randie Arthur Meyer

February 27th, 1959 – February 10th, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randie Arthur Meyer, aged 66 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, on Tuesday, February 10th, 2026.  Randie was born in Indian Head, Saskatchewan and spent his life in Moose Jaw, where he built his roots, friendships, and countless memories.

He was predeceased by his partner and cherished companion, Elise Lawrence; mother, Audrey Meyer; father, Edward Meyer; and niece, Kristy.  Randie will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Nicole (Steve); and his grandchildren Javin and Charlie, who brought him great pride and joy.  He is also survived by his brothers, Dale (Annette) and Gerry (Linda); nieces and nephews: Michael, Suzanne, Marie, Richard, and Andrew; along with extended family and many friends.

Randie had a deep love for sports — especially golf, hockey, and baseball — and he never passed up the chance to listen to a good tune.  He enjoyed camping and valued the simple moments spent with his grandchildren whenever he could.  Those moments meant more to him than he often let on.

Randie was known for his funny but stubborn sense of humour.  He loved telling stories from the past — the adventures with friends, the laughs, and especially the countless memories from the old Park Hotel days.  If you sat long enough, you were guaranteed at least one good story.

Randie was a kind and caring man, low-key in nature, and “cheap” as his family would lovingly tease — but truly a man with a heart of gold.  He showed his love in quiet ways, through presence, stories, and the time he gave.  He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Randie’s Life will be held on Friday, February 27th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Celebrant Dave Foley officiating.  Those not able to attend may view the service by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/webcast/.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Randie’s name may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Box 2414, Toronto, ON M4P 1E4 or The War Amps, 2827 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, ON K1V 0C4.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Andrew Pratt, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
