Dale Finch

September 20, 1963 – July 21, 2026

Dale passed away suddenly at Buffalo View Campground on July 21, 2026, at the age of 62. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Leah. 

Dale was predeceased by his parents, Ron and Lillian Finch. He leaves behind his sisters Rhonda (Donald) and Lisa (Stephen); his niece Bobbie (Perry) and nephew Daniel (Katelyn); his great nephew Robert; his great nieces Lilly and Adaline. 

Dale was born in Regina Saskatchewan. He graduated from Sheldon Williams Collegiate. He was a member of the football team as well as the Lion Band who was directed by Bob Mossing. After completing his time with the Lions Band, became their driver. 

He worked with the RCMP as a Civilian Driver, was an original member of the Saskatchewan Roughrider Pep Band where he met his wife Leah. He worked with Brinks Canada, Badger Daylighting as a Safety Officer, and moved on to Engleheim Bus Charters. He worked EMS in Bengough for 35 years and was a member of the Bengough Volunteer Fire Department. He was the recipient of the Governor General of Canada Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medal. 

He was also involved with the Poltava Ensemble of Song Music and Dance as their driver, he worked crowd control during Mosaic in Regina, and was an alternate for the National Executive Committee for the Association of United Ukrainian Canadians. 

Dale was a big presence and has left an undeniable impact on everyone he met. A Celebration of Dale’s life will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bengough Community Center in Bengough, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dale’s name may be made to Bengough Ambulance Fund at PO Box 267, Bengough, SK S0C 0K0.
