Wade Carl Brooks

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wade Carl Brooks, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026 at the age of 66 years, with his caregivers and cousins, Marvin and Debbie Seaborg, by his side.

He was predeceased by his father, Carl Brooks in 2010; mother, Florence Brooks in 2018; and brother, Wendel Brooks in 2021.  Wade is survived by numerous relatives.

Over the years, Wade was challenged with many health issues, but whenever he was asked how he was doing, he always replied that everything was good.  Wade was very well liked by the staff at Providence Place, with his unique sense of humour and kindness towards them.

Wade’s life took him to many places – Lloydminster, Calgary, and finally returning to Moose Jaw to be with his parents and brother.  After his father’s passing, Wade was there to be at his mother’s side.  

Wade had a strong faith and would always want a prayer before our visits ended.  His struggles are now over, and he is finally at peace and resting with his family.

We would like to thank the staff at Providence Place for their dedication and kindness that they showed to Wade right up until his final breath.  

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 24th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Rosedale Cemetery.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Wade’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7 or Bethany Lutheran Church, Box 264, Mortlach, SK S0H 3E0.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
