Ronald Helaire Berthelette

It is with sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Ronald Helaire Berthelette announce his passing on July 22, 2026.

Born July 7th of 1948 at St. Boniface hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Ronald lived most of his life in Calgary, Alberta where he worked nearly 30 years at Stampede Pontiac Buick; a loyal and devoted employee.

He was married in 1975 and was father to three children. His true passion was a deep unwavering devotion for hockey and above all else, the Calgary Flames.

He often said, with a grin, “the day the Flames moved from Atlanta to Calgary, was the greatest day of my life”. 

Ron is survived by his twin brother, Donald Berthelette; ex-wife Dorothy Ramicone; three children: Lisa Richer, Michael Berthelette and Christy Marlatt; nine grandchildren: Daylon, Kailey, Payton, Rieley, Taylor, Presley, Macy, Eberle and Marcus and great-grand-daughter Brynn. 

In keeping with Ron’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Michelle Ellis, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
