A “columbarium” is a number of small compartments or “niches” that house the cremated remains of our loved ones.  The columbarium is located indoors providing a temperature controlled comfortable area for year round remembrance, contemplation and meditation.  Each niche, measuring 12”W x 17”D x 13”H, can accommodate the cremated remains of up to two loved ones, whether it be in one dual capacity urn or two individual urns.  The niches are all glass faced and each family can personalize the glass, urns or niche as they tastefully choose.  Families may choose to place pictures of the deceased or small personal items that reflects the personality or interest of their loved one.  The indoor columbarium allows for a peaceful, secured atmosphere that allows for comfortable visiting year round.  A visitor can swipe their security card to gain access during the regular business hours of Monday to Saturday - 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.  Appointments may be made for off hours or holidays by calling the office during the regular business hours.  Once in the building, the visitor can stand and visit or sit in one of the comfortable chairs for a lengthier visit.  Each columbarium niche is purchased and remains the property of the owner and perpetual care is covered just as it is at a cemetery.  For more information or even a short tour, please feel free to contact us at 693-4550.
