Langford, George

George William Langford, aged 80 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away Friday, January 27th, 2012. He was predeceased by his wife, Kate; father and mother, William and Isobel; sister, Donna Erskine and brother-in-law, Harold Erskine. George will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his sister and brother-in-law, Anita (Michael) Blanchard and many friends. George was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years. He loved playing music and played in a dance band at an early age. George worked at the post office as letter carrier. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 3rd, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 200 Mulberry Lane, Moose Jaw, SK. Leon Pandachuk will be the speaker and interment will take place in Sunset Cemetery. A Time of Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday, February 1st, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. An appreciative note of thanks to the homecare providers and nurses for your care of George and support of Anita and Mike. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, contributions in George’s name may be made to the Five Hills Health Region Home Care, 455 Fairford St. E. Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1H3.
